JACKSON, WY | JACKSON HOLE SNOCROSS NATIONAL

December 8-9, 2017 Snow King Mountain   Writing and Photos by Crystal Wallem Photography     This past weekend, Snocross made its debut at a brand-new venue – The Snow King Mountain Resort in stunning Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where FXR racers flooded the podium.   To kick off the weekend, Riley Johnson #106 happily took 3rd place in the 200 Stock final—a class that is new to the circuit this season.     Kenny Mandryk #102 has been dominating the Sport Lite class this season. In Friday’s Sport Lite final, Kenny took the win, and was accompanied by Drew Goskey #725 who raced his way to 3rd.     Kaden Woodie #980 had a very special 2nd place finish in his Sport final—racing in his stomping grounds with family and friends in attendance to cheer him on.     In Friday night’s Snowbike final, Austen Madison #1 finished in 2nd, closely followed by William Van Hook #88 in 3rd.     Everyone’s favorite racer in pigtails and pink, Malene Andersen #93, took the win in Friday’s Pro Am Women final.     Emilia Dahlgren #79 of Team Southside Polaris joined Malene on the podium, taking 3rd in the Pro Am Women final.     Nisse Kjellstrom #27 had a big 3rd place podium finish in the Pro Lite final on Friday night.     Friday’s Pro final was jam-packed with intense, head-to-head racing for Kody Kamm #1. Battling through thick snow dust and lap traffic, Kody took the 3rd spot on the box  to wrap up the first night of races.   Starting off another brisk, but beautiful day of racing, FXR racers swept the JR Girls 9-13 podium.     Oliviah Westervelt #304 took 3rd.     Addison Bourdages #330 in 2nd.     And Sophia Hulsey #800 with the win.     Tanner Johnson #313 placed 2nd in Saturday’s Transition 8-10 final, and Cameron Cole #747 took 1st.     Logan Frattalone #318 looked solid this weekend, taking 2nd place in the JR 14-15 final.     Back on the podium for the second time of the weekend, Cameron Cole #747 took 3rd in the JR 10-13 final.     Joining Cam on the podium was Drew Freeland #821 with a big win in the JR 10-13 final.     Another racer with multiple podium appearances in Jackson is Logan Frattalone #318, back on the box for the second time this weekend. Logan took 3rd in the JR 16-17 final.     Yet another familiar, smiling face was on top of the podium for his second 1st place of the day—Drew Freeland #821 took the win in his Transition 8-13 final.     Mitchell Gross #671 looked solid on Saturday, taking 2nd in the Sport Lite final.     Kenny Mandryk #102 made his second appearance of the weekend on the Sport Lite podium with a huge 1st place finish.     Carter Meyeraan #125 finished 3rd in the 120 Champ final on Saturday night and Brady Freeland #831 took 2nd.     Elina Ohman #17 with a big 2nd place finish in the Pro Am Women final, and Malene Andersen #93 with the win for the second night in a row.     In Saturday night’s Sport final, Adam Peterson #113 of Team LaVallee took the 2nd place spot on the box.     Furthering his points lead, Martin Molland #75 raced his way to 2nd place in the Pro Lite final.     To top off the weekend, Kody Kamm #1 was back n the box for the second night in a row, taking 2nd place in the Pro final.   Congrats to all of our FXR racers—a job well done!  We’ll see you all in Shakopee, Minnesota on January 5-6 for rounds 5 & 6 of Amsoil Championship Snocross
